Scanning books to E-prezencka on demand

During the period of preventative measures due to coronavirus outbreak, users can request books to be scanned to E-prezencka. This service is limited to titles that are in our collection and are not available via another service (e.g. Kramerius digital library, EBSCO e-books collection, etc.).

Submitting a request

Search the requested title in the university catalogue. Click on Holdings and check the availability of the book in the University Campus Library collection (KUK - free access, KUK - Reserved Collection, KUK - reposit).

Please, use your university e-mail for sending the following information to knihovna@ukb.muni.cz:

• your first and last name
• your university ID (UČO)
• author
• title
• year of publishing
• the URL of the page displayed after clicking on Holdings
• your reasons for scanning or why it is urgent

Please note that requests from teachers who need books for teaching and students in the final year of study (due to their preparation for the state examination or writing thesis) will be prioritized.

Request processing

Our library will check whether the book is available in our collection and is not accessible using one of the online services. If it is already available online, we will send you a note with a link where you can access it. If it is not available online, but we have it in our collection, we will scan it and send you a notification once it is available in E-prezenčka.
