Group study room booking

Booking conditions

  • Study rooms 115 and 117 can only be reserved by internal users from CEITEC, FaF, FSpS, LF and PřF.
  • Group study rooms are intended only for individual/group study at MU, not for teaching needs including commercial activities (e.g. private language lessons). For the purposes of student associations, use the spaces for MU student activities.
  • Reservations must be made no later than the working day before 1 p.m. (i.e. reservations for the weekend and Monday are submitted no later than Friday by 1 p.m.). Study rooms cannot be reserved for days and times outside library opening hours.
  • Users can reserve only one study room for group from 2 to 8 people at the same time. Use individual study rooms for individual study instead.
  • The reservation is valid within 15 minutes from its start, otherwise other users can use the study room until the next reservation time.
  • You can use the study room without prior reservation, but confirmed reservation users have priority. Outside of occupied time slots, study rooms can be used without any reservation.
  • The same rules apply in reserved study rooms as in other study rooms. The rooms are not completely sound-proofed, so be careful not to disturb users in the surrounding areas of the library with your speach.
  • Flipcharts in the study rooms can only be written on with markers supplied by the library (if run out, ask for new ones at the lending desk).
  • If the conditions of group study rooms are not observed, the user may be temporarily or permanently restricted from booking them.
