Interlibrary loans

If you would like to read a title that is not available in any library in Brno (such as the various university libraries, Moravian Library, Jiří Mahen Library, etc.), you can request to borrow a copy elsewhere through interlibrary loan. This service is provided to MU readers, external users registered as readers of one of the MU libraries, and other libraries.

An interlibrary loan will usually incur charges for making a copy and sending it by post. The charges are set by the library that owns the required document. Requests that incur charges of up to 50 CZK are processed automatically; if the expected charge is higher than 50 CZK, we ask the reader in advance to confirm their request.

PLEASE NOTE that due to the expiration of the licence agreement, electronic document delivery (EDD) was terminated as of 31 December 2018 and our library can no longer fulfil requests for digital copies.
