The first 15 new computers were put into operation today in the small computer study room (119). CIT SUKB continues to install software on additional
computers that will be placed in the large computer study room (228) and on selected desks behind the lending desk. The computers are being purchased
from the project Improving the infrastructure for educational activities in the University
Campus Library (CZ.06.04.04/00/22_002/0000303), which is co-financed by the European Union.
The purpose of the project is to upgrade IT equipment to improve the work with electronic information resources.
We also aim to enhance the acoustic qualities of the library's study rooms and staff areas.
In summary, the project will allow to purchase new computers and increase the soundproofing of study rooms
and offices in the University Campus Library.
