In the upcoming days, the construction modification of the study rooms and librarians' offices in our library will get started.
The reconstruction is set to begin on Thursday, the 27th of July 2023, in the eastern study rooms.
Therefore, the book collections from the Sports, Social Sciences and Humanities departments will be temporarily unavailable.
Please do not enter the restricted areas for safety reasons.
The main goal of the modification is to increase the soundproofness of the walls.
The modification is funded from the project Improving the infrastructure
for educational activities in the University Campus Library (CZ.06.04.04/00/22_002/0000303), which is co-financed by the European Union.
The purpose of the project is to enhance the acoustic qualities of the library’s study rooms and staff areas.
We also aim to upgrade the IT equipment to improve the usage of electronic information resources. In summary,
the project will allow to purchase new computers and increase the soundproofness of study rooms and offices in the University Campus Library.
